The focus here was simplicity of composition.
A shift to the grey end. I love that grey. It’s got a slight concrete tone about it.
I particularly like the lack of squareness in this one.
For this piece, I decided to reduce the palette by removing the red.

I’m putting these years together because by this time I’d pretty much stopped photographing most of my tattoo work.
This is 2017. I think it was around this time I finally had the confidence to announce that I’d be leaving tattooing, at least for a while.
